RugbyPass wanted to make the 2023 Rugby World Cup the most widely accessible rugby event ever and promote its RugbyPass TV service. They turned to us to help make this happen via Performance Marketing strategies such as SEO, Content and Digital PR. Objectives: Increase organic traffic to the RugbyPass website by 25% Increase organic sessions and clicks by 50% Generate 100k+ sign-ups Improve RWC keyword rankings by 50%
Solution
Together with the client, we created 2 digital assets to engage fans through the tournament: the team picker and the tournament prediction tool. We then interviewed leading legends and experts of the game to use the tools and discuss their choices. We distributed the results to the press. We also conducted a thorough content and SEO audit to ensure user intent was captured and organic visibility was reaching its full potential.

Challenge
The Winners Enclosure wanted to improve the organic performance of its Cheltenham Festival microsite in the lead-up to the Cheltenham Festival in March 2024. Additionally, the company also wanted to improve its news content performance, with the aim of boosting both traffic and conversions.
Solution
In order to meet our objectives, we ran a technical and content audit of The Winners Enclosure’s microsite to understand the client’s position and offering. We did a thorough keyword research project, with the aim of improving optimisation and filling any content gaps. We then mapped keywords to pages and created content briefs for any new URLs. Finally, we updated all outdated content on the microsite and created the new pages required before the start of the Cheltenham Festival.
Result
102% of clickout target achieved. 11.65% increase in organic clickouts vs 2023. 1,972% increase in organic sessions for race preview content.
